The Organic Plain Sourdough Batard, from Thoroughbread Bakery, is a blend of kialla organic white & stoneground wholemeal flours, plus water, salt and sourdough starter.

They push the fermentation so the loaf is naturally softer, with a thinner crust. It stays fresh for longer and freezes well for those that don’t get through a lot of bread.

It’s amazing with a good squadge of Pepe Saya Organic Butter. Just sayin’.

A Batard is approx. 1.1kg.
